Congratulations to Tatiana Blana who has just been awarded Apprentice of the Year – Higher/Degree Level (Levels 4,5,6,7) by Apprenticeships Norfolk. Tatiana has only just completed the apprenticeship after passing her final exam to become a fully qualified accountant with the ACCA. What a great start to her year! We look forward to watching her progress her career at Triple Bottom Line Accounting.
Tatiana chose to join the apprenticeship scheme and study for the ACCA qualifications while researching international accounting systems for her master’s degree ten years ago. Tatiana has taken on increasing responsibility while the company has more than doubled in size since she joined us in 2019. She joined us as an Accounts Assistant and last year was promoted to Accounts Manager. Tatiana brings her big heart to the company; her empathy allows her to notice when others are struggling and flag up that they need more support. She is a confident team member and brings much value to all our team discussions and workshops. She is also a competent and experienced accountant, an integral member of our compliance team! TBLA has a collaborative, rather than a hierarchical, approach to running the business. This allows everyone to bring their experiences and knowledge to the table. In this way, the business has benefitted from the experience and learnings of all our apprentices. Tatiana has managed a demanding workload while studying for her professional qualification and bringing up two school-age children in Norwich. She benefitted from our flextime and hybrid model of working, but this does not detract from the fact that she has achieved much when English is her third language!

Fran joined TBLA in 2019 after a long career in teaching. Her roles include human resources management, ESG and Marketing. During 2020 and 2021 she developed the TBLA Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact service. As part of the process, she has carried out an impact analysis of the TBLA social and governance profile and a whole company carbon calculation with accompanying target setting, carbon reduction action plan and impact narrative. Fran is now working alongside the growing ESG team to help more SMEs plan for Net Zero around the UK.
