Triple Bottom Line Accounting (TBLA) is pleased to announce the completion of Stage 1 of our strategic ESG partnership with the Norse Group. The 12-month initiative, launched in August 2024, represents a significant collaboration between TBLA and one of the UK’s leading public sector partnerships. In this stage, we have successfully conducted a comprehensive ESG gap analysis for Norse Group, laying the foundation for future sustainable practices.
Our partnership approach:
Under the leadership of TBLA’s CEO, Dr Peter Ellington, and Sustainability Director, Fran Ellington, we have conducted a comprehensive ESG gap analysis for Norse Group. This work combines TBLA’s expertise in sustainability with additional insights from our strategic partner, Andrea Finegan of Anglia Capital, who brings valuable experience from her work with FTSE100 companies.
The Stage 1 Process
Our team utilised advanced Maturity Mapping techniques to evaluate Norse’s current ESG practices against industry benchmarks and regulatory requirements. The analysis incorporated educational components, presenting practical examples of ESG adoption across different organisational functions. Our approach focused on three key areas:
- Governance structures
- Environmental management systems
- Social impact frameworks
Next Steps: Building on the completion of Stage 1
TBLA will continue working closely with Norse Group’s leadership team, including the Chair, Dr Andy Wood and CEO Justin Galliford, to develop implementation strategies for the identified opportunities. This partnership demonstrates TBLA’s commitment to supporting organisations in their journey toward sustainable and responsible business practices.
