Lecturing part-time in Accounting and Taxation
Peter’s professional career has included a range of demanding senior positions since qualifying as an accountant in 1983. He left the corporate rat race in 2008 having decided that it had taken enough of his soul. On finding his freedom he began developing a niche accountancy business practice specialising in education, accounting for charities, social enterprises, environmental focused businesses and small startups.
In addition to managing the practice he also teaches part-time for Norwich Business School at the UEA on the MBA programme, MSc in enterprise and Taxation to 3rd year undergraduates.
I graduated from the Norwich Business School in 2017 and am studying for my ICAEW exams with Kaplan.
I enjoy working with small business and have been developing our management accounting offering. This includes price reviews, modelling of business costs and break even along with budgeting and cash flow forecasting. I also do taxation and accounting for self-assessments and corporation tax.
Outside of the office, you may find me baking cakes.
BSc Finance and Accounting, ICAEW Trainee
Graduating from the Norwich Business School in 2014 and currently taking my final examinations with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, I have been in practice with Triple Bottom Line Accounting since February 2014.
Specialising in new business start-ups, Taxation and Small Enterprise I have been able to help many clients make their dreams of running their business a reality as well as giving established companies strategic financial advice to achieve their goals.
Outside the office you’ll find me sitting behind his drum kit for bands and orchestras or clocking up the miles with local cycling clubs.
BSc Business Finance and Economics, ICAEW Trainee
My role includes serving and advising clients, both individuals and companies, on business, accounting and taxation matters. I have been specialising in charities and not for profit organisations.
I have a strong belief in our triple bottom line ethos; people, planet and profit and that business is a platform and medium to better peoples lives whilst being environmentally conscious and making a profit. A win-win-win situation.
